This is the most personalised “fitness” routine you will ever need

Every single one of my clients is spoken to and cared for individually. I take a natural and “old school” approach to my workouts.

My workouts don’t contain “beastings”, they contain ups and downs, just like life.

I currently cover Stratford Upon Avon and the surrounding areas

Personal Training – Ethos

  1. Repeatability
  2. Injury Prevention
  3. Diet
  4. Flexibility

I believe that working out more often, for less time can more beneficial for your body and mental health than a “beasting” that leaves you aching and not wanting more.

What does “fitness” mean to me?

I believe the definition of “fitness” has become a little distorted.

I define fitness differently.

Let’s start with Google…

When you “Google” fitness, you receive the following definitions;

  1. The quality of being suitable to fulfil a particular role or task.
  2. The condition of being physically fit and healthy.

So what do I think?

I think Google gets pretty close, but I would like to expand.

I believe “fitness” is more than just being able to life heavy weight and run a long way. I believe fitness is a feeling you get when you feel like you can take life head on.

  1. Can you run for a bus?
  2. Can you sit cross legged?
  3. Can you re-arrange your living room?
  4. Can you pick up your child?
  5. Can you touch your toes?

These are some of the questions I think should be asked to find out if you are “fit”. It’s a state of mind as much as physical state of your body.

With my sessions, I aim to unlock this state of mind by helping your realise you can do more with what you have. You just need to complete the cycle between your brain, stomach and body.

About Me and My Athletic Career

What qualifies me to teach others?

Throughout my life, I have always excelled in sporting activities. As I have gotten older…I have realised this was no accident. My approach to fitness, strength, power, injury recovery, technique and form meant that I always ended up being OK at the sport…but what I really excelled in was passing my attitude onto the next generation of athletes.

My approach to sport meant that I had above-average endurance, and I believe this mentality has continued into my current professional life. I don’t stop. This is not due to having “better muscles”, it’s due to excellent form, understanding of the move and my mental attitude. I now want to pass this on to more people as this philosophy has helped me cope with life’s ups and downs.

Introducing…”Fitness Buddies”

What is a “fitness buddy”?

A “fitness buddy” is different to a “personal trainer”. A fitness buddy asks YOU what you would like to do.

All “Myfrog Fitness Buddies” have been interviewed in person by me and bring a unique range of skills weather this be a sport, a physical activity such as running or cycling to physio, mental health and chiropractic experts.

Being active and being happy are closely linked and I want to expand the number of people this philosophy effects. See my diagram here.
